Agreement to Terms

By booking a tour or service with Chef Tours & Hospitality Ltd. ("Chef Tours," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

Bookings & Reservations

Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us (via email or WhatsApp) and any required deposit has been received.

Deposits & Payment

  • A deposit of 20% may be required to secure your booking
  • Full payment is due before the tour date (or upon completion for certain services)
  • We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cash payments
  • Prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You

  • More than 48 hours before: Full refund minus any non-recoverable costs
  • 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

We understand that plans change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation by Us

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or alternative date at no extra cost.

Tour Conditions

Pickup & Timing

  • You must be ready at the agreed pickup location and time
  • A maximum wait time of 15 minutes applies
  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened tour or additional charges
  • Please provide accurate contact information for tour-day communication

Health & Fitness

Some tours may require a reasonable level of fitness or mobility. Please inform us of any health conditions, disabilities, or special requirements when booking so we can ensure your comfort and safety.

Behavior

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest who behaves inappropriately, endangers themselves or others, or fails to follow safety instructions. No refund will be given in such cases.

Liability & Insurance

Chef Tours maintains comprehensive public liability insurance for all tours and services. However:

  • We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
  • We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by third parties, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Participation in activities (swimming, hiking, etc.) is at your own risk
  • We recommend you have adequate travel insurance for your trip

Car Rental Bookings

When booking a rental car through Chef Tours:

  • The rental agreement is between you and the rental company (Avis/Budget)
  • You must meet the rental company's age and license requirements
  • You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the rental company's terms
  • We act as an intermediary and are not liable for rental-related issues

Photography & Marketing

During tours, our guides may take photographs for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant us permission to use these images unless you specifically request otherwise. Please inform your guide if you do not wish to be photographed.

Complaints & Disputes

If you have any concerns during your tour, please raise them immediately with your guide so we can address them. For post-tour complaints:

  • Contact us within 7 days of your tour
  • Provide details and any supporting documentation
  • We will investigate and respond within 14 days

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cyprus courts.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your tour.
